Dear Family and Friends,

First and foremost, to all of our loved ones currently in Jamaica, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers for safety and protection through the impact of Hurricane Melissa.

​

For the safety of our guests, our family has made the decision to RESCHEDULE Berres’ 65th Birthday Bashment to the tentative dates:

​

Friday, January 16th, 2026 – Sunday, January 18th, 2026

​

The itinerary will remain the same. Once Hurricane Melissa has passed and we confirm everyone’s safety, we will send official details along with a follow-up so that you can confirm attendance. We truly hope you can adjust your plans to join us, but we completely understand if you’re unable to attend.

​

We recognize that many of you have already booked flights, hotels, and transportation. Most major airlines (AA, JetBlue, etc.) have started canceling or rescheduling flights and are offering flexibility to adjust travel plans without penalty due to the hurricane.

​

The hotels listed on our website (AC Hotel, R Hotel, and Pegasus Hotel) have confirmed that they will fully accommodate our guests, offering refunds and rescheduling options. We kindly ask for your patience as hotel staff in Kingston are also being directly affected by the storm.

Regarding transportation fees or gratuities for the Boat Party:

​

• If you plan to attend in January, we will keep all payments on file for the rescheduled dates.

• If you are unable to attend, please contact me directly for a full refund, which will be processed within 24–48 hours.

We deeply appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work through these changes.

At this time, my Father, Berres, my Mother, Monrovia, my Uncle, Norris, and my Aunt, Shelby, are in Clarendon at the Richardson Home. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they weather the hurricane.
